It's hard to believe it's already time to chat all things fall (and I might be a bit early, but it's my favorite season ever so please don't judge hehe). I ditched candles over 5 years ago after I learned scented candles and air fresheners contain harmful chemicals that can pollute our homes. I still wanted my home to smell good & feel cozy, but wanted to do it in a natural way, so I started diffusing! There is nothing that screams cozy, fall day more than homemade apple crisp in our house! The warm, cinnamon-infused aroma that fills the kitchen as the apples bake is enough to make anyone’s mouth water. Gathered around the TV as we watch football, we eagerly await that first bite of the sweet, crumbly topping paired with the tender, spiced apples beneath. It's a recipe that's been passed down through generations that I know your family is sure to love too!

This is one of my most beloved recipes, especially during the fall & winter months! It's easy to make (peeling & slicing the apples is the most time consuming part) and pairs well with so many of our favorite fall meals! 

A few things to note: I prefer to use Honeycrisp apples for my crisps & pies (they are sweet yet crips and full of flavor) however you can use any apples you have on hand! I like a lot of crumble on my crisp (if you do too, this recipe won't disappoint). If you like a little less crumble, then I would recommend dividing 'The Crisp' portion of the recipe in half! These are my favorite rolled oats to use for this recipe (and my homemade granola). Lastly, if you're on the hunt for a great casserole baking dish (that's glass & has deep sides for recipes just like this), you need this pyrex deep casserole dish!

The Frame TV is one of our favorite home purchases of all time! Whenever the TV is off, the screen displays artwork (you can also set it to family pictures or anything you want!).
